While Vincent Van Gogh is perhaps most known for the notorious incident of cutting off part of his ear after a parting of friendship with Paul Gauguin, that was not his only legacy. Van Gogh created over 2,000 works of art with the majority of his most known works being created in the last two years of his short life.

Van Gogh's works are perhaps some of the most expensive ever sold in the art world. One of his paintings, "Portrait of Dr. Gachet" was sold for in excess of $82 million. Prints of his paintings "Starry Night" and "Cafe Terrace.. at Night" have ranked among the most popular prints and posters ever sold through our gallery.
